Lily got in the pool (aka the really big, outdoor, freezing cold tub) today for the first time.  At first she really hated it.  There was lots of crying.  As with most things, a little encouragement from her father and she decided she really liked it.  She played in it for a long time.  We are excited to go to the real pool soon.  This was our trial run.

We haven't posted this week.  I was sick again.  I didn't know adults could run fevers that high.  Here is a picture of Lily going to check out the garden with her daddy.  They do this every night.  We also snapped a picture of the first lily blooming this year.  We have 3 of them so hopefully we will have some better lilies for Lily to take pictures next to. 

We had a cookout today with our neighbors. Here you see Lily conducting traffic with Sidney and Haley. She had a great time, and came home completely dirty to prove it.

We haven't posted a video in a while.  Here is Lily riding her Zebra.  She loves that thing - and always loves playing with her daddy.  As you can see, she shares her father's crazy first thing in the morning hair.  This hair is courtesy of a 2.5 hour long nap.

We took Lily out of Boot's pontoon boat today.  It was her first boat ride.  I think she would have liked it, if it had not been for 2 things: the life jacket and the wind.  Infant life jackets are not that comfortable, and she was not digging it.  The ride itself was a little more wind than she had seen before.  We went pretty far, all things considered, before Lily let us know it was time to head back to the dock.  Here's to next time. 

Gracie comes running anytime she hears the sound of the high chair tray being put on.  She knows that sound means within minutes, Lily will be sharing whatever she is eating with her.  It is a game they both love.  I do not love it so much.  It is great, however, that I have yet to have to clean the floor up around the high chair.  Thanks Gracie - and Lily too.
