It's a little hard to hear, but Tate has been saying thank you. His vocabulary now consists of: momma, daddy, ball, thank you, hi, bye, and yes.
The other shots are of Lily at Noah's birthday party. I think she is beginning to think that August is officially dessert month. She, Noah and Franco were three peas in a pod yesterday. It was very cute. Another girl tried to play with them. Lily quickly told her to go away and not play with her friends. Taking charge. That's our girl.

I thought I was out my house, but as you can see Lily is eating spaghetti. She ate the whole plate. Where is my child. She even knew it had vegetables in it. We started sitting at the kitchen table and she sets it for us. I think that may be what started this new eating trend. I hope it lasts.

We let Lily open a few of her presents from us tonight. The tunnel was a big hit with everyone.

Can't believe he will be a year old in under a month.  He wasn't thrilled to do this shoot today.  He is a little under the weather. Even so, he did a good job.  The full gallery from the shoot is on Billy's Flickr page - check them out.  

Lily will be 3 on Thursday and the birthday celebrations have begun. Knowing that she will have lots to unwrap we decided to stagger some of the gifts. We started with presents from Bert and Jade. They sent a baby pram and baby doll accessories. Lily loves it. Tate likes it too. He wanted to help take care of the baby.
