Hard Day's Work

Lily went to spend the day at Hackie and Boot's today so that Mommy and Daddy could do some work in the yard.  Here are pictures of what was done.  The yard was blown, the basement cleaned and swept, the huge piles of stone were moved and hidden from Lily, the old rock garden was removed and replaced by a new stone patio, and Billy almost finished my wrapping table.  We are officially exhausted and can't move.  Now to the lake to winterize the boat and to start Champagne Sunday!!

1st Visit with Santa

Lily went to see Santa today.  She also got to go to Bass Pro Shops for the first time.  It really was hard for us to keep her from buying up all the camo and fishing lures.  We really thought that she was going to enjoy talking to Santa - and she was happy up until the last second  - but then it happened - the most scared I have seen her look in a long time.  She will come to learn  - do not be afraid of Santa - be very, very afraid of the Nutcracker.  The shots with Santa are pictures of the printed picture we got. We'll have better copies soon!

Yo Gabba Gabba

Lily went to her first show at the Fabulous Fox today.  We saw Yo Gabba Gabba live.  At first, she wasn't sure what was going on, but she got into it.  We left at intermission.  40 minutes was enough, and we both hate Atlanta traffic.  You can see from the car ride home, Lily had a great time.  We then headed to the McGinnis Woods Fall Festival - picts to follow.

Do you like my hat?

During our weekly visit to Hackie and Boot's for Sunday dinner - the entire family decided to head outside into the frozen tundra.  Ok, it wasn't exactly frozen, but it was pretty cold and very windy.  Jack, Boot and Lyt were having fun throwing the football around - Lily and Billy were having fun walking on the gravel driveway - and using the boat trailer as a jungle gym.  Lily just loves being outside.  Thanks to Jack and Alex for passing down the awesome red hunting hat.

Walking and Flipping

Lily has been taking 3 or 4 steps for a while now, but now, as she turns 13 months, she is full on walking.  Here's a video for those of you who haven't seen it in person yet.  The 2nd video was taken last weekend.  She is all about flipping things over and climbing in or on them.  I wonder where she gets that from?  Hackie says she is a total tomboy.  Hmmm, guess that's why you haven't seen her wearing any lace.

Lily's Dad

Billy sent me this a few weeks ago.  Told me I could use it for the wallpaper on my computer.  I wonder if Lily will be this much of a dork?
