To the park!

We went to the neighborhood park May 8th. Lily had fun at the playground. We then went to the pool to see how cold the water was. Lily ran straight into the kiddie pool and fell completely underwater. It was cold. We went home. Unfortunately, we have no photographs of the wet and cold child, nor the paniky mother, nor still of the slightly agitated father. No doubt, those photographs would be much more amusing than the modest collection we have to offer.

No more carnivals - for a while.

We started today with swim lesson #3.  Lily has learned to jump, or scoot, off the side into the water.  We are very proud.  Then we went to the school carnival.  Lily was afraid of the horses and the train.  Things in the past she has loved.  We may stop going until she is older.  She did love fishing, which made Daddy proud.  We end today's photos with a shot of my leg and the rash.  It is all over my leg and we have no clue what it is - and luckily it came 7 days ago with a horrible cough.  I am super lucky that way.

Easter Egg Hunt and Party at School

Looks like the practicing paid off.  Lily was a machine during the hunt at school today.  Billy is pretty sure he saw her throw a few elbows to get to the eggs first.  We also learned that we should have taught her that you don't look for eggs in other people's baskets.   You'll see from the party shots, that sitting like a polite little girl is another area were we should do a few practice sessions.

Lily's first time playing in the snow

I think there has been more snow in Atlanta since this baby has been born, than most people in the South ever get to see.  Last year she looked at it.  This year, we let her go outside.  She wasn't sure what to do, and when she started sinking, she wanted her mommy to hold her.  Next year, snowmen and snow angels.
